Ilaria Malaguti joined the Bologna office of Zunarelli – Studio Legale Associato in April 2017.
She operates mainly in the fields of civil, administrative, transport, shipping and contract law, providing judicial and out-of-court advice and assistance in relation to private, public and regulatory issues, both at national and international level.
In December 2016, she graduated with honours in Law from the Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna and from the Université Paris Ouest Nanterre – La Défense (Paris X), with thesis in European Union Law entitled “La risposta dell’Unione europea alla minaccia rappresentata dai c.d. foreign fighters”, obtaining the Licence en droit and the bilingual Master, specialization French Law/Italian Law.
She obtained her PhD in Legal Sciences, Navigation Law curriculum at the Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna in March 2023, with a thesis in Navigation Law entitled “Investimenti infrastrutturali nei porti e negli aeroporti e aiuti di Stato”.
In 2023, she obtained the ICC Italian Golden Certificate in International Contracts (International Chamber of Commerce).
She has been a member of the Bologna Bar Association since December 2019.
She is member of the Italian Association of Maritime Law (AIDIM).

Legal assistance and out-of-court advice to a company selling products shipped as part of an assisted negotiation promoted by a shipping company for the payment of demurrages for failure to collect the goods at their destination following the outbreak of war. - Civil law – Litigation concerning dry docks
Appeal litigation concerning the application for ascertainment of private ownership of a dry dock for use as a marina, in respect of which the public administration claims to have become the legitimate owner following the excavation of the land and its connection to the sea, and, in the event of rejection of this application, the request for payment of compensation for expropriation. - Transport and logistics law – Logistics contract
Preparation of a standard contract format for a multinational company commissioning logistics services including storage, transport and installation, with assessment of the changes necessary for localisation and applicability in other countries. - Transport and logistics law – Regulatory compliance
Legal assistance and out-of-court advice on contributions for the operation of the Transport Regulatory Authority, preparation of documentation for declarations to the authority and analysis of relevant turnover for the calculation of contributions and verification of compliance with the applicable requirements for companies active in the road haulage and logistics sector.
