{"id":42927,"date":"2016-10-17T09:34:26","date_gmt":"2016-10-17T09:34:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/studiozunarelli.com\/2025\/10\/02\/privacy-and-protection-of-personal-data-eu-regulation-679-2016\/"},"modified":"2026-02-17T11:59:05","modified_gmt":"2026-02-17T11:59:05","slug":"privacy-and-protection-of-personal-data-eu-regulation-679-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/studiozunarelli.com\/en\/privacy-and-protection-of-personal-data-eu-regulation-679-2016\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cPRIVACY AND PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA: EU REGULATION 679\/2016\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>\u201cPRIVACY AND PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA: EU REGULATION 679\/2016\u201d<\/em><\/strong><strong> \u2013 26 <\/strong><strong>September 2016, Bologna<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On 26<sup>th<\/sup> September 2016 the seminar \u201cPrivacy and protection of personal data: EU Regulation 679\/2016\u201d was held at the Political Sciences School of Bologna, organized by Prof. Chiara Alvisi (of counsel to Zunarelli \u2013 Studio Legale Associato), who chaired the event.<\/p>\n<p>The seminar offered a first exegesis of the changes introduced by the new European regulation in order to facilitate a proper understanding of next-generation institutions such as the right to be forgotten, the right to erasure, the principles of privacy by default and privacy by design, the compulsory nature of the privacy impact assessment, the introduction of the new position of data protection officer, etc.<\/p>\n<p>The seminar, which inaugurated the Academic Year 2016-2017 of the Public Communication and Business Degree Course (Compass) of the University of Bologna, was attended by distinguished representatives of national and European institutions, and of the academic world.
