We offer our Clients support with regard to all issues which may arise in connection with transport. Our assistance ranges from the contract drafting phase, the assessment of the regulatory aspects, to the litigation phase.
Our Clients encompass the whole logistics chain: freight forwarders, carriers, shippers, insurers, insurance brokers, P&I Clubs, Port Authorities, terminal and air operators.
Recent representative matters include:
- we are frequently instructed by shippers, insurers, freight forwarders, carriers and terminal operators to advise and represent them in cargo disputes;
- we have provided advice to major transport companies in the drafting of network contracts applied to the logistics and transport sectors;
- we have provided assistance to enterprises operating as sub-carriers in the transport market, in order to obtain the payment ‒pursuant to article 7-ter of Italian Legislative Decree no. 286/2005‒ of the consideration owed by the carrier, also when the main debtor is a company undergoing insolvency proceedings;
- we have successfully provided assistance to a freight forwarding company in a Court dispute concerning liability for damage to machinery during stay at loading port terminal.
