Andrea Giardini, Senior Partner of the Firm, has been appointed by the President of the Consiglio Superiore dei Lavori Pubblici (the Italian Superior Council of Public Works), Massimo Sessa, as member of the Commission in charge of drawing up the guidelines proposal for the Council itself for the drafting of the port system regulatory plans, of the variation works and of functional and technical adjustments.
These are the new planning tools provided by art. 6 of Italian Legislative Decree no. n.169/2016, which launched the reorganization and rationalization of the Italian Port Authorities, by establishing the so-called Port System Authority.
The law provides that, based on the proposal of the Superior Council, the guidelines will be issued by the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport by decree within 30th November 2016.
