The Friuli – Venezia Giulia regional representation of ASLA, with the patronage of AIDIM and of the Chamber of Commerce of Trieste, and with the support of Tripmare S.p.A., organized the seminar “Italy’s contribution to the Unification of Maritime Law” which was held in Trieste, at the local Chamber of Commerce on 24 April.
· Alberto Pasino addressed the subject of Maritime Law in Trieste from the postwar period to the present day.
· Giorgio Berlingieri spoke about the work of the Comite Maritime International and about the development of Maritime Law;
· Stefano Zunarelli spoke about the reform of port legislation within the Strategic development Plan for Italian ports.
· Massimo Campailla spoke about Italian legal reviews as detection instruments for the developments in the case-law of the maritime sector.
· Fabrizio Devescovi introduced and moderated the meeting.
