On 27 April the “1st National Forum on Ports and Logistics – The state of implementation of the National Strategic Plan” took place at the Cruise Terminal of the Port of Bari, which discussed the main measures taken by the Government for the relaunch of the competitiveness of the Sea System and in relation to the implementation phase of the National Strategic Plan of Ports and Logistics adopted by the Council of Ministers just under a year ago.

The measures and choices taken by the Government were presented during the Forum, with particular reference to actions regarding intermodal incentives, the main investments for the modernization of physical and non-physical port infrastructures,  the “last mile” connection policies, the new elements introduced by the Sportello Unico dei Controlli (Single Desk of Controls), the simplifications concerning regulations on excavations and dredging, the Regulation on State property Concessions. This last point was discussed by Professor Stefano Zunarelli in his presentation “The new regulation of state concessions”.
