Michele Borlasca specializes in Insurance and Transportation Law, which he has studied in depth also by serving as teaching assistant in Insurance law at the University of Genoa and by studying for his PhD in European Transport Law at the University of Bologna. He provides judicial and extrajudicial assistance to insurance and re-insurance companies, insurance brokers and transport undertakings.
With reference to the field of Insurance Law, also through a professional experience abroad with a major insurance broker, he has focused on: accident and health insurance; land vehicle, train, airplane and maritime hulls; goods in transit; fire and natural disasters; credits and deposits; valuable cargo and art; legal expenses insurance; tourism; airplane and vessel liability; civil liability of the carrier; civil liability towards third parties / employees; Professional liability; civil liability; medical and hospitalization civil liability; financial civil liability; product civil liability; shipyards, yacht and builder liability; director and auditor liability.
Michele Borlasca is also speaker at several roundtables addressed to transport operators and he takes part in Italian and international working groups on insurance law.
He is a member of the Genoa Bar Association.
