Avv. Marta Tonioni

– JUNIOR PARTNER –

Marta Tonioni joined the Firm in 2015 and became Junior Partner in 2022.

Her experience spans several industries, and she advises industrial operators in the negotiation of commercial agreements, as well as in litigation (in court and arbitration).

Thanks also to some academic experiences, she developed a strong knowledge of transport and logistic sector.

She graduated from the Libera Università Maria Santissima Assunta – LUMSA of Rome with a thesis on international law regarding “Private Maritime Security Contractors e Vessel Protection Detachments in the fight against Piracy. The Enrica Lexie case”.

In 2023 she gained a research fellowship for the duration of 12 months on the theme “legal effects arising from national transposition of directive 2014/94/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 October 2014 on the deployment of alternative maritime fuels infrastructure” at the University of Teramo.

During the academic year 2021/2022 she held the role of Contract Professor for the Comparative Port Regulation Course of the Global Development and Entrepreneurship Study Course (Department of Economics) at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.

She was admitted to the Bologna Bar since 2019.
