The public double topic seminar “Governing road transport: when rules hamper development – The Sea of Southern Italy looks at new routes for growth” was held in Bari, Palace Hotel, on Friday, July 4th, as part of Zunarelli B&T Internatioanl Law Firm’s summer meeting.
The seminar was introduced by Prof. Stefano Zunarelli (Zunarelli’s Founding Partner, Professor with tenure of Maritime Law and Transport Law at the University of Bologna). Speeches on subjects related to road transport were delivered by Prof. Massimo Campailla (one of the Senior Partners of our firm, Associate Professor of Transport Law at the Faculty of Economics, University G. D’Annunzio of Chieti -Pescara), Natale Mariella (Vice-President Anita – Road Hauliers National Association) and Luciana Laera (Associate working at our Bari office).
Topics related to transport by sea were discussed by Prof. Sergio Prete (President of the Port Authority of Taranto), Prof. Hercules Haralambides (President Brindisi Port Authority), Marco Lacarra (Commissioner of Public Works, Bari), Bepi Costantino (appointed Honorary Consul of Costa Rica to Puglia, Campania and Abruzzo), Sheikh Ali Al Khaled Al Sabah (Ambassador of Kuwait) and Felice Eugenio Lorusso (Lawyer member of the Bari Bar, Studio Lorusso).
